In the year of our Lord, twenty-five and five A young man pondered on the future, so alive With technology that soared, beyond the skies But also brought the fear, of a technological demise   He dreamed of a future, where machines did not reign Where error and malfunction, did not bring such pain Where man and technology, coexisted in harmony And the world was not plagued, by a technological tyranny   He knew that for this dream, to come true Effort and dedication, was all he could do To study and research, to innovate and create To ensure that the future, would not meet its fateful fate   He worked hard each day, with a heart full of hope To build a brighter tomorrow, where man could cope With the wonders of technology, without any fear And to bring about a future, that was ever so dear   He knew that the path, would not be easy to tread But he pressed on with determination, in his head For he knew that the future, was wor...

Happiness and sadness, two sides of the same coin I try to hold on to the happy, but the sad keeps creeping in As I struggle to make ends meet, and study for my degree It's a constant battle, between what I want and what I need I work long hours, just to pay the rent But it leaves little time for my studies, and time well spent I try to stay positive, and focus on the good But it's hard to find joy, when I'm working as I should Life is a balance, between happiness and sorrow But as a student, it's hard to find a way to borrow From one to the other, and still come out ahead I try to keep moving forward, but sometimes it feels like I'm dead So I hold on to the happy, and try to let go of the sad For tomorrow is a new day, and a chance to be glad I'll keep fighting, and find my way through For happiness and sadness, they both have a place in life's view

In Baler I did roam, Along the beach, far from home, The sand between my toes, The sound of the ocean flows.   The sun was shining bright, The waves crashing with might, I felt the breeze on my face, And knew I'd found my place.   I walked the streets with wonder, Discovering the town's splendor, The history and culture, It was like no other.   I met the locals with a smile, And talked with them for a while, They welcomed me with open arms, And shared their traditions and charms.   I surfed the waves with glee, And watched the sunset on the sea, I'll always treasure this trip, To Baler, where my heart did dip.

  I'm a missionary, serving in South Korea For two long years, I've been here and more I spend my days teaching the gospel and English too And doing farm work, cleaning, and anything that needs to be done, it's true But my main mission is to spread love and joy To the people here, and to every girl and boy I work to make them happy, in any way that I can For bringing a smile to someone's face is worth more than any grand It's not always easy, but it's worth the fight To be a missionary and bring some light To a world that can be dark and cold But with love and joy, we can break through any mold So I'll keep on serving, with all my heart and soul For being a missionary is my ultimate goal To make a difference, and bring some cheer To the people here, and throughout the year

Life is a journey, full of twists and turns At times it feels like the weight of the world is on our shoulders But we must keep moving forward, even when it feels hard For we are the millennials, the generation of change We think about life and all its mysteries We wonder what it's all about and if we're doing it right But no one has all the answers, we must find our own way In a world that is constantly shifting, it's tough to stay positive Yet somehow we must find the strength to carry on To keep our heads up and push through the tough times For we are the ones who will shape the future We are the ones who will make a difference So let us embrace the challenges and face them with grace Let us find the beauty in the chaos and keep moving forward For we are the millennials, the generation of hope And together, we can change the world

 Life is a battle, and sometimes it's hard to win When the weight of the world is on your shoulders and you feel like you're caving in But we must keep fighting, even when the road ahead seems rough For we are the warriors, the ones who are tough I lost a friend, a lover, and faced death's icy grip It was hard to keep going, to find my way and not trip But somehow I found the strength to carry on To keep my head up and push through the tough times and not be gone Mental health is a journey, and it's not always easy to see the light But we must keep going, and find ways to make everything alright We are all in this together, and we must support each other and be kind For together, we can overcome the world and leave our troubles behind So let us embrace the challenges and face them with grace Let us find the beauty in the chaos and keep moving forward For we are the warriors, the ones who are strong And together, we can overcome anything that comes our way
